Mesa Police Department Job Application

The online Mesa Police Department job application is available via the organization’s careers page. Follow the links posted on this page (near the top of the page/in the instructional guide) to go to the MPD’s employment page. When you open the organization’s employment portal you will be able to search for current job openings, register for an online account, and fill out/submit applications for any job openings that you want to apply for.

Apply Online

Step 1 – The first step to finding a job with the MPD is to go to the employment site for the MPD. Click on this link to open the page in another browser window/tab.

Step 2 – Once you have the page opened, scroll down and then press the link that’s outlined in red in the below screenshot (“Start Your Career”).

Step 3 – In the keyword input field enter “police” or “Boston police department.” Press the search icon to the right of the input fields to load the list of current openings.

Step 4 – Filter the list of results by using the options on the left side of the page. Results can be filtered by location, category, date posted, etc.

Step 5 – Click the link of the specific position that you want to submit an application for to go to the next part of the process.

Step 6 – Read the job description page/section and then follow the directions on the page to complete the online application process.

  • Note: If you want to become a police officer you must complete the state’s civil service exam.
