Go to the organization’s homepage to access their online employment portal. The guide posted below details how to access the job search page, search for current openings, and start the online application process. The link/button near the top of this page will take you directly to the PANYNJ website. The links posted in the instructions below will load in a separate browser window/tab (so you can follow along with the instructions).
- About the Organization: PANYNJ (Port Authority of New York and New Jersey) is a joint organization (between New York and New Jersey) that oversees the transportation infrastructure of both states. The organization was created in 1921, and is headquartered out of New York City.
Apply Online
Step 1 – Click here to open the PANYNJ careers homepage in a new browser window/tab.
Step 2 – Click the link/button as outlined in red in the below image. The main job search page will load in a new window/tab.
Step 3 – Enter a keyword into the search form and then click the “Search” button to load the results. The list of openings can be filtered via the options on the left side of the page.
Step 4 – Click the title of the job that you want to submit an application for.
Step 5 – Scroll down the page and press the button as shown in the screenshot.
Step 6 – Accept the privacy agreement/terms of use.
Step 7 – Click the “Register Now” link.
Step 8 – Register – Submit the following information into the form’s appropriate subsections/input fields:
- Username
- Password
- Confirm password
- First name
- Last name
- Primary email type
- Email address
- Primary phone type
- Phone number
- Preferred contact method
- Country
- Address 1
- Address 2
- Address 3
- City
- State
- Postal code
- County
Step 9 – Click the “Register” button to create your account.
Step 10 – Submit the required information into the application form. After the form has been completed the process will be complete.
