The Rent-A-Center job application is only available online. In order to search/apply for jobs you must go to the company’s careers site. Both corporate and in-store/retail positions can be applied for online. The instructions posted below detail how to navigate the jobs site.
- About the Company: Rent-A-Center is an American chain of furniture/electronic rent-to-own stores based out of Plano, Texas. The company was founded in 1973, and currently has hundreds of locations throughout the country. Over 22,000 people are employed by the company.
Apply Online
Step 1 – Copy/paste the following link into your web browser to load the careers site in a new tab/window:

Step 2 – Once the site is open in a new window/tab, press the “Search Jobs” button to go to the main search page.
Step 3 – The results can be filtered by category, location, or division. Click the job title link of the position you’re interested in to load the next step.
Step 4 – Review the job description/qualifications and then click the “Apply Now” button to move to the next section.
Step 5 – Sign in to your account, or click the “New User” button if you need to register a new account.
Step 6 – New User Registration:
- Username (or email address)
- Password
- Email address
Step 7 – In the first section of the online application you have the option to import your personal information from your LinekdIn profile (or resume). You can also opt to fill out the form manually.
Step 8 – Personal Information – Provide the following details:
- First name
- Last name
- Primary number type
- Phone number
- Email address
- Street address
- City
- State
- Zip/postal code
- Place of residence/country
- Are you fluent in Spanish ?
- What type of work are you interested in ?
- Have you ever served in the military ?
- Do you consent to receiving personal information to your provided email address?
- Accept the terms of the arbitration agreement
Step 9 – Click the “Save and continue” link to move to the next section. Complete the remaining sections of the form:
- Questionnaire
- Work/education history
- Attach resume
- EEO information
- Assessment
- eSignature
- Review and submit
